Dr. Genie Burnett, Psy.D
Dr. Burnett has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 1999. She is the founder of Manna Treatment & Counseling, PC, which began in January, 2006. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Psychology from Argosy University in Atlanta. Since graduation, Dr. Burnett has specialized in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults suffering from eating disorders. Dr. Burnett has provided individual, family, and group therapy at two previous private practice settings, the Christian Psychological Center in Memphis, Tennessee and at AlphaCare Therapy Resources in Atlanta. She has provided services at every level of care (inpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, mental health center). She is a member of American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Utilizing a multifaceted approach in her treatment style, Dr. Burnett focuses on uncovering and healing emotional pain and/or trauma that typically underlies eating disorders or other psychological problems. She believes that treatment from eating disorders involves a multi-faceted approach, including processing the dynamics of family interactions, individual therapy, and group interaction. Individual therapy with Dr. Burnett involves a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) approaches. EMDR is a specialized treatment approach specifically designed to help individuals process traumatic episodes from their past. Dr. Burnett also specializes in the treatment of other acting-out behaviors that often begin in adolescence, including self-mutilation, sexual acting out, and other addictive behaviors. |

| Dr. Kenyon Knapp, Ph.D., LPC, NBCC, CPCS
Kenyon C. Knapp, Ph.D., LPC, NBCC, CPCS is the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and Associate Professor of Counseling at Mercer University, Atlanta campus, where he coordinates all graduate programs in the College of Continuing and Professional Studies and teaches Masters and Ph.D. level counseling courses. He has worked as a school counselor, youth court counselor, and in many other positions with children, adolescents and adults. He has had a part-time private practice for over 13 years, and enjoys working with a variety of client issues. He has specialties in the areas of crisis counseling, sexual addiction counseling, and Christian counseling. However, his greatest joy and accomplishments come in the form of his wife and four children, who keep him practical, multitasking, and very grateful for his life.

Anne Marie Hutcheson, LPC, NCC
Anne Marie has been providing counseling services in Atlanta since 2008, when she graduated with an MS in Professional/Clinical Counseling at Georgia State University. Prior to her career shift and training as a counselor, Anne Marie was a national consultant specializing in human resources, training, and development at The Odyssey Group. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of the American Counseling Association and the National Board of Certified Counselors. Anne Marie is certified as a TREM facilitator (Trauma Recovery and Empowerment). In her previous counseling work at St. Jude’s Recovery Center and Anka Behavioral Health, Inc., Anne Marie has gained experience in residential, outpatient, and community counseling. During this time, she has worked with young adults, adults, groups, families, and individuals. Her focus and passion has been working with men and women dealing with substance abuse disorders, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationship difficulties, sleep issues, and career stress.
Anne Marie approaches the counseling relationship knowing that the work that happens in each session is based on collaboration and respect. Using this relational foundation, Anne Marie uses cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and experiential approaches to help you achieve your goals. She believes that each person is an individual, and the families, groups, and spiritual beliefs we hold dear have shaped us all. Exploring these connections is an important part of the therapeutic process. |
Amber Corbi, MS, LAPC
Amber is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She received her master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. While at Vanderbilt, her focus was community counseling with a specific concentration in eating disorders and women’s issues. Throughout her counseling career, she has been devoted to providing comprehensive and supportive care to people suffering from various forms of disordered eating. She completed her internship at the Renfrew Center of Tennessee and worked as primary therapist at the Center for Eating Disorders at Focus Healthcare of Tennessee. She has received vast experience in working with individuals in a residential, partial, and intensive outpatient level of care. While at Focus Healthcare, Amber also received weekly training from eating disorder expert, Dr. Anita Johnston, author of Eating in the Light of the Moon, and largely incorporates storytelling and metaphor into her work.
Amber’s goal is to educate and empower individuals so that they may fully express themselves in an authentic and healthy way. She brings passion and purposes into each experience, and due to her own recovery from an eating disorder, she also shares her understanding for the struggle of living with unhealthy eating while motivating her clients toward their own path of recovery.
In addition to working with clients struggling with eating disorders, Amber also works with those affected by trauma, chemical dependency, stress and anxiety disorders, life transition issues, depression and grief from loss.

Regina Saxton, RD, LD
Empowering individuals and motivating groups towards healthy lifestyle behavior modifications has been the passion of nationally recognized Registered and Georgia Licensed Dietitian, Regina Saxton, since 1998. She is a graduate from The University of Florida Food Science and Human Nutrition Program and is a leader in providing expert-level and research-based sound nutritional education and advice. Regina has practiced in clinical, community, food service and private settings, as well as, governmental agencies and charitable organizations. She provides counseling to clients of all ages on general nutrition through the lifecycle and the management of specific disease states such as, eating disorders, digestive irregularities, diabetes and metabolic syndrome, heart conditions, cancer, and renal disease. She specializes in the promotion of achieving a healthy weight and active lifestyle through behavior change and offers an environment of compassion and empathy with supportive, yet firm nutritional recommendations. Her philosophy of living a life in balance physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually resonates throughout her consulting practice.

Amy McCullough
Amy McCullough is a student intern at Mercer University. She is currently in the Master's of Counseling program, and is training under the supervision of Dr. Burnett. Her career interests are in adolescent and young female adult issues. |
